ACT Label Printing
Printing labels from within ACT is impossible without a tediously constructed template. Furthermore, printer settings must be exactly correct as well to format and cut the label correctly. All these parameters were obtained and documented here. Duplicate the settings in the following screen shots to enable label printing from within ACT on the Brother QL-570 label printer using 2-5/7" continuous tape.
Usage
Once the following settings are available, printing a contact with the "Labels" template will then allow one to select which contact details will be printed (home or company data). The length of the label, and thus how many lines will be printable on the label, must be specified by the printer driver. With the below configuration, one can select a label length appropriate for 3, 4, or 5 address lines.
Home Address
Four Lines
This allows a total of 4 lines to be printed.
Three Lines
The settings in act are not changed. Simply set the printer layout to the "ACT (3 lines)" template:
Company Address
Five Lines
This allows a total of 5 lines to be printed.
Four Lines

These files may be download and then imported from within the Brother QL570 printer dialogue.
ACT Label Templates
Downloading and placing these files in the
{DATA}\ACT\Reports directory and restarting ACT will make the label templates available for printing from within ACT. The templates below are the ones shown in the above screenshots.
