TWikiRegistration? and I'll add you to the list!
This is an informal TWiki website for collaboration amongst the Volumetric CT research group of
TomBrady? and
RajivGupta? (group leaders). Contributors at present include
RyanEgeland (Harvard),
BenjaminReichardt? (MGH Scientist),
BernhardSchmidt?,
MichaelGrasruck?,
CristophSuess? (Siemens), and
SteveJones? (MGH Radiology). TWiki.Registration can be used to add other users to the web. All users are listed in
RadiologyGroup, and only those individuals may view this site after logging in.
In the sake of saving time, this web was created on a pre-existing and secure remote server, but is all text and will be transfered to an MGH ASAP.
Projects
At present, this page contains brief writeups and documentation for the Siemens Volume CT scanner at Charlestown. Other projects can be added later.
Volume CT
- ImageFormats. Contains general notes on the data formats and software for image processing and analysis relevant to the VCT. Includes description of a ConversionScript written to handle single slices from the VCT recon data.
- FreshPig. Results for an initial scan of a freshly killed pig head. Primarily shows response of instrument to kV and mA settings, and provided a good "dry run" for FreshPigAngiography? planned later.
- TheoreticalTemporalResolution. A short discussion highlighting some of the thinking about characterizing the temporal resolution of the instrument, which will be important in FreshPigAngiography?.
- RotatingDiscs. Discusses some of the experiments following from the TheoreticalTemporalResolution experiments.
- HemiHead. Detailed and comprehensive characterization of the VCT kV, mA, and rotation speed settings on a preserved human hemi-head.
Sections above can be added to and revised. Please see
WebChanges for a quick update of pages that have recently changed.
